Upcoming: No Upcoming Events Who Are The College Republicans?College Republicans are in their 112th year and continue to grow. Currently there are over 1,200 College Republican chapters and over 150,000 members nation wide. The College Republican National Committee is based in Washington, DC and runs on an annual budget of $1.2 million. The University of Arizona College Republicans were a strong force in the 80’s and early 90’s, but due to a lack of interest and a change in the political landscape, the club all but disappeared. In 1999, Seth Frantzman re-founded the club and helped to elect Bob Walkup mayor of Tucson. By 2000, the club was going strong, with more than 150 members working to help elect then-governor George W. Bush and re-elect Congressman Jim Kolbe. Today, the University of Arizona College Republicans remain a strong political force on campus with hundreds of members, taking the fight to the Left and helping Republicans win elections at all levels. We make up the grass-roots army needed for victory in major campaigns. Please join our winning team and help us make a difference! Check out our mission! |
